Launching The Corsica Display Home

Monday 12th September 2011 - 6:22pm

Easily one of the largest in the Commodore display series, the new Corsica, located in Alkimos is flexible enough to accommodate a growing family.

Andrew Shue, Commodore Homes’ Brand Manager says the brief for the design of this five bedroom, two bathroom home focussed on space.

“With many homes on the market, one room has to be sacrificed to include another, such as a missing bedroom to add in a study, but with this home, it’s all included.  The fifth bedroom can be converted to a games room if it’s not needed, or kept as a handy guest room.

“Another attractive feature of this home is the centralised living area where the kitchen is literally in the centre of the home.  Natural light is utilised to its fullest extent, with sliding glass doors out to the alfresco and windows through to the web zone from outside.

This home is destined to be a popular seller for Commodore both for it’s design and value for money.  At ??$ it’s a big home for a small price,” said Andrew.

The facade is contemporary with neutral render and contrasting materials broken up by full length picture windows.  Once inside, either through the shoppers entry from the garage, or through the covered porch, there’s a long, expansive foyer.

The master bedroom, located at the very front is spacious, and a generously proportioned walk in robe is designed to accommodate the largest wardrobe.  An ensuite with separate toilet has a double vanity, finished in Laminex is reminiscent of a hotel suite.

Further in, the home theatre is an ideal retreat, and the integrated living dining and family area is an all encompassing entertainment zone.  This spills out onto the alfresco, creating an ideal place for socialising with friends and family.

The other bedrooms, which are all located to the rear of the home, all have built in robes and are spacious in size.  There’s a webzone where the children can do their homework, and be monitored by mum and dad through a cleverly built window through to the living area.

Finally, the second bathroom has both a bath and shower and is also finished in luxurious Laminex, and a separate second toilet offers privacy.
